Hello! Saw these blushes at Daiso, and I couldn't resist but to get them. Packaging is very pretty and sturdy, doesn't look $2 at all! I've never tried Daiso blushes before cause $2 products are quite dubious to be put on my face… HAHA, but I decided to just be yolo and tried them on! I've tried their eyeshadows before and truthfully they are very well pigmented :) Oh, and these are Made in Taiwan.
My theory is: If it's good, then $2 well spent! If they don't work, then well.. It's only $2 I guess :/
The first one that I reached out to was the mixture of purple and pink, called Magic Colour. Cause they reminded me of my Holy Grail Benefit Hervana blush, which I've worn to death and already hitting pan *cries*
And I have to say, I'm not disappointed at all! The colours are vivid, the shimmers are not too much but enough to act as slight highlighter on my cheeks. Plus, this combination complements my skin tone :)
I will definitely repurchase this if I ever run out, which I don't think I can ever cause Daiso often change their products. Haha. But for this colour, it's $2 well spent ✓✓✓
A few days later I dropped by Daiso again and decided to pick up the rest of the colours! At first look, both the colours looked the same, but apparently one is orange and the other is pink. Hmm, both looks orange/coral to me.
This is the orange one, called Cute Colour:
Looks pretty good to me. 3 orange/coral shades and one pure white shimmer. They are not as well pigmented as the purple and pink. But I think it will look great as a subtle sun-kissed look! I won't repurchase this, cause I don't wear coral blushes on a daily basis, hehe but it's also a definite $2 well spent ✓✓✓
Last but not least is the pink one, called Pink Colour:
I guess the difference between the two are the colours no. 2 on each blush respectively! One is pearly coral while the other is pearly pink. However, I don't think the pearly pink colour helps to change the colour to pink? Somehow this mixture is more pigmented than the coral one though… :/
Again, I won't repurchase this cause it leans towards coral/red than pink (which is my go-to blusher colour). But this is definitely not subtle like the previous one. So if you like vivid colours or if you have a more medium-dark skin tone, I'd say go for this! Of course, with this level of pigmentation, $2 well spent ✓✓✓
That's the end of my review! I hope with this review, some of you can put down your guards towards $2 face products… HAHAHA. Cause I definitely had a different outlook towards them!
Till the next,
Flo♡
I have the peach and purple ones! And I quite like them! :)
