Review & Swatches: Sleek Blush by 3

[Products are not sponsored and all reviews are honest opinions!]

Hi loves! Pea here. I've got about 50 shades of pink (I might be exaggerating a little) to share with you all today!

So Flo introduced me to my first Sleek blush palette about a year ago (omg, has it been that long?!) and it's the Blush by 3 in Lace. [i apologize for the faint name colors at the bottom of each palette!!]
So I was damn amazed by the pigment. I've used Lace at least 20 times the past year and there's barely a scratch because you only need like one dab of your brush and plenty of dusting away excess. We'll, unless your aim is to look like an orange or apple then by all means go ahead haha
So this year I've added two more Sleek Blush by 3 palettes to my collection! Pink Spirit and Sweet Cheeks (I keep thinking of a baby's butt btw) haha

LACE: Crochet // Guipure // Chantily
Lace is a coral orangey based blush with three very pigmented powder blushes. Chantily is a coral shade is slightly more bluish and darker than Crochet. Guipure is filled with such a beautiful gold sheen. This picture/swatch is not doing it justice. I normally use it as a highlight on tip of the blush itself.

PINK SPIRIT: Pinktini // Pink Ice // Pink Parfait
Pink Spirit is very magenta/berry palette with three powder blushes as well. As seen, the left is a red and it looks very intimidating but it's not really! I use my fingers to dab the color on my cheeks and then a brush to blend it out to this wonderful satin finish. The middle one is a HAWT pink haha I luv it. Utmost right is this mauve-ish pink and it is absolutely beautiful. I think because I'm slightly fairer, it doesn't take a lot of these to show.

SWEET CHEEKS: Candy floss // Dollymix / Cupcake
My absolute favorite is the latest one in Sweet Cheeks. It's the limited edition Candy collection and I got lucky on Qoo10! On the right is a cream blush which shows this sweet Barbie pink and it blends amazingly with my fingers. Middle is a matte pale pink to lilac color. I wasn't expecting the last shade. I'm not sure what to call it..it's this pink with a slight peachy-coral hints with fine shimmers in it.

All the swatches were done with two swipes of my fingers so these is how amazingly pigmented the blushes are!

Sleek blushes can be found on Luxola.com and Q10 but prices varies! Flo just told me about their new releases and now I'm itching to get Pink Lemonade!!! Haha

And a huge face under natural sunlight to end! I'm wearing the Sweet Cheeks cream blush and a dust of the pale pink one above it. LUV IT. The blush lasts for almost 7-8 hours with primer and I really use A LITTLE. It goes a looooooong way.

ok, ending off here!
Love,
Pea

Review: Revlon Balm Stain VS Revlon Matte Balm

[Products are not sponsored and all reviews are honest opinions!]

Hi!! :)

It's no secret that I've loved the original Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains for a very long time, and I was super excited when I found out they came out with two new versions - the Matte Balms and the Lacquer Balms!

I saw the reviews on Youtube a few months back and was dying to get my hands on them. Sadly, Singapore hasn't had it yet then, so Pea kindly brought the Matte Balms back for me from the US :) According to the reviews I've read and watched, the Lacquer Balms are nothing extremely special/good, so I decided to skip them and stuck to only the Matte Balms.

However now that they're out in Singapore, I'm itching to try out the Lacquer Balms too. HAHAHA. Will add on my little review here if I do get them ^^

For now let's talk about the original Balm Stains vs the Matte Balm~!

First up, the original Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain:

These are like the best fusion of a lip balm and a lipstick in the market. Even though the colour is sheer, it is very much build-able. It is also super moisturising and I love the mint tinge to it! Not forgetting that since it's a stain, it really really stays on your lips. Haha.

I have them in 4 colours:

These are very lightly swatched. So you can imagine how build-able the colours really are. I first bought the colours Honey and Cherish. Honey is one of my MLBBs, I used it till the cap broke and I had to tape it together to prevent it from falling apart HAHA. And cause I really loved the formula (it's always moisturising > anything else for me in a lip product), I got another two - Adore and Sweetheart. Adore is a very blue based red that I always use as a base before rocking my red lips. It helps my lips to stay moisturised! It also looks great sheer :)

Next up, the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm:

The packaging is exactly the same as the Balm Stains, but these come in matte finish and I really love it! These are not as moisturising but THE COLOURS ARE SO PIGMENTED, and they last throughout the day/night. Unless I eat something really oily then my inner lips will be of a lighter shade than the outline of my lips hahaha. But other than that, it's really quite amazing! I was drinking Koi and the colour didn't even transfer onto my straw!!!

I got them in 4 colours as well:

These are lightly swatched as well! I think I only swiped once up and down. My favourite colour out the bunch has got to be Standout. It's the perfect red shade that I can wear anywhere. If I want it to look more intense I'd add a layer of Shameless so it looks more plumy :) On the other hand, Mischievous is a pretty tough colour to rock cause it's a really true orange colour. I have to finish it off with a gloss to make it less harsh (I still love it tho).

So overall, I really super love these Revlon Balms and I'd rate them 4.5/5 (Revlon please release more colours hahaha).

If you're hesitant to pick these out, don't be! Give them a try and you won't look back :)

These Revlon Balm Stains, Matte Balms and Lacquer Balms are now available at most Watsons stores and John Little, they retail at S$19.90 each :)

xx,
Flo

Review: Covergirl Clump Crusher + Giveaway

[Products are not sponsored and all reviews are honest opinions!]

Hi guys! Pea here.
Gonna cover a review on the Covergirl Clump Crusher today.
I'm a HUGE fan of the line and I have almost all the lashblasts - length, volume, fusion...
My name is pearlyn and I'm a makeup addict.

So back to the point.
I picked this up cause Flo's friend - lexygraceeee (read her at lexygraceeee.blogspot.sg) wanted me to help get this for her. And I was super excited to try it out.

It comes in a normal lashblast packaging and my color is Very Black. They also carry waterproof and non-waterproof versions but Singapore is hot and humid and wet, I knew I have no other choice but to get the waterproof one.

This is how the brush looks like.

[pardon messy brows] I am blessed with naturally long eyelashes and I think they are my best asset HAHA but my eyelashes are stick straight. But nth to worry about with a curler right? So this is a picture of my lashes without bring curled to show you guys the full length

1. Left: uncurled with no mascara // Right: curled with two layers of clump crusher
2. Left: curled without mascara // Right: curled with two layers of clump crusher
3. Both curled and mascara-ed!!

Ok, I love the mascara in general. But here are the pros and cons

Pros:
1. No spidery lashes. Just fluffy, wispy realistic ones
2. Black. They are so black.
3. No smudges/flaking whatsoever with 8-12hours of wear
4. Curved brush that fits the eye so it coats the eyelashes pretty evenly and reaches the shorter ones near the corner of my eyes
5. A variety of normal shades!

Cons:
1. It doesn't hold curls. I'm not sure why and I'm pretty sure the one I got is waterproof!
2. I would kill for slightly more volume even though that's not it's job haha

Otherwise, I really love this mascara and it was only USD$9.99 (if I rmbr correctly) at CVS.

we have ONE more Covergirl clump rusher to giveaway! Just go the link at the side and like our IG photo on the Covergirl clump crusher and stand to win! Good luck!

Love,
Pea
